Research
Paper Requirements
A. A minimum of
ten pages typed is required excluding the cover page for the project.
B. The layout for
this project will be one-inch margins top, bottom, left and right with 1 ½”
line spacing.
C. The paper will
be typed in New Times Roman, 12pt font size using black font color only.
D. Refrain from
bolding the entire paper. Use the bold option to highlight selected text
only.
E.
Each page should be numbered with your last name and page
number appearing in the upper right hand margin of your pages. Your name and
page number should appear on each page after the cover page. The
cover page must NOT have your last name or page number in
the upper right corner of this page.
F.
All questions must be included and should accompany the
answers.
G. All answers to
the questions must be answered in complete sentence form.
H. If there are
any questions about this assignment students should ask the instructor
immediately.
I.
Each major topic should begin on a separate page. For example
each occupation and each college and/or university will begin on a new page.
Sub headings like student body and entrance requirements will and may be on the
same page.

Cover
Page
A. The cover page
will include the name of your research paper centered in 28 pt font size.
B. Followed by
your name centered in 20pt font size
C. Name of the
class centered in 14pt font size.
D. Instructor’s
name centered in 14pt font size.
E.
Followed by your class period centered in 14pt font
size
F.
Followed by the date centered, the date you turn in your
project in 14pt font size.
G.
Concerning the page numbering on the cover page. There will
be no name and page number on the cover page in the header.

Reference
page.
A. Each research
paper must have a reference page.
B. The reference
page will be the last page of your paper unless you have
additional information you would like to convey to me. If so then the reference
page will precede the additional information.
C. Students must
have a minimum of four references for the student’s information for the
research paper.
D. The heading
for this page should read References
and should include alphabetically in order, any references used in research for
this paper and should be in 16 pt .
E.
This page should be located after you second college choice.

Any requested information or additional pages should be
included after the reference page.
5.

Questions to be answered in The Research Paper
All questions will be answered in
full sentence format! All answers are to be in bold font or underlined. No
exceptions.

Occupation/Career
As a sub heading list the name of your occupation. The
occupation should be centered in 16 pt. You may use any website
or any information as long as you document the information that you used to
obtain answers to the following questions.

description of the typical tasks that your occupation may do.

List briefly the
National Employment and Outlook through the year 2008 for your chosen
occupation or career.

List any
military careers and their earnings for your occupation.

pt.
You may use any website or any information as long as you
