This is me hard at work in studio! I am taking a class called Summer Option. It is mandatory to get into the Auburn architecture program. There are two sessions; the first is four weeks long and the second is six weeks. There is a cut after each session. We have class Monday thru Friday from 9-5, but really we stay past five and the teachers don't always leave until sometimes 8-9. Professor Burleson used to stay until 2 or 3 in the morning. I had him for the first session and he was a great professor. This session we have four professors and they rotate every week and a half. We also have an idm class this session. IDM is a computer class so that we can learn to use Rhinocerous and other programs such as Photoshop on the computer. Rhinocerous is a design program that many architects use to help in constructing their designs. The final cut will be on the 30th of July and then we will find out if we have made it into the architecture program or not. If we do then we can go onto second year otherwise we can switch majors or try again the next summer.
