          Goal: The purpose of the course is to learn some basic concepts, techniques and applications of Linear Algebra.

  Text: Linear Algebra with Applications, 7e, by Steve J. Leon, (errata) Prentice Hall, New Jersey.

We will follow closely the text to cover the main topics in the syllabus.

You are expected to read the sections before you come to the lectures. Review the material before you do your homeworks.

        Grades are determined by the quizzes (30%), the two tests (30% total, that is 15% each) and the final examination (40%). We use 10 points scale:
