Holy Deduction

Holy Deduction

by David B. Swanger

Mary tells Elizabeth the circumstances of her pregnancy.
Elizabeth's six-months old fetus flip-flops with joy at the
announcement. (John seems to be proclaiming the coming
of Jesus before he and Jesus are born!)

After he is born, John continues to proclaim Jesus' coming.

Jesus later reveals that John is Elias. (Elias died @850 years
before John was born!)

Now, if John is Elias... and if he knows Jesus 'before they
are born'... perhaps this signifies a relationship between
the two in a previous incarnation.

A search of Holy Writ reveals a certain contemporary
of Elias whose name (translated) is God is Savior: Elisha!

Continuing our search we find that Elisha performed more
miracles than anyone else in The Old Testament. He
brought a dead child back to life. He died and was
buried. Later, someone was being buried by mistake in
his tomb. When that person touched Elisha's bones he
stood up on his feet and walked away.

When John emerged from the womb of Elizabeth, God
breathed the breath of life of Elias into his nostrils and
John became a living soul. When the especially prepared
body of our Lord was 'born,' God breathed the breath of
life of Elisha into its nostrils and Jesus became The Christ,
Son of The Most High.
