The following is a review of multimedia and/or hypertext authoring software I was able to find on the internet which is currently (as of April, 2001) available for purchase. The purpose of this page is to inform interested teachers, especially those in secondary English or Language Arts, of what software they might be able to purchase for their schools and use to help their students create projects which can be presented either in the classroom, on a school network, or on the world wide web. I researched this information as part of my seminar project in Dr. Michelle Sidler's English 7050 course at Auburn University, Spring Semester, 2001. I hope you will find it helpful.
If you are looking for lesson plans which incorporate multimedia and hypertext in secondary English/Language Arts, please go to Sally's Multimedia Lessons. I have written some lesson plans based on my pedagogical research in English 7050, and also provide links to and information on other lesson plans I found along the way.
E-mail me at stephsg@mindspring.com, if you'd like to share cool stuff I can add to this site or if you need more info on my plans (but please no technical questions! I probably don't know the answer.).
