The mission of the
AIMS Education Foundation is to enrich the education of students in K-9 through hands-on
activities that integrate mathematics, science, and other disciplines. AIMS implements the
recommendations put forth in reform documents such as Science for All Americans (American
Association for the Advancement of Science), Curriculum and Evaluation Standards for School
Mathematics (National Council of Teachers of Mathematics) and the National Science Education
Standards (National Research Council of the National Academy of Sciences.)
