ASTM activities include the editing, preparation of test method documents and balloting of these documents at subcommittee and main committee level. The disposition of all negative votes and comments are my responsibility. Biannual meet ings are used to provide input and to assign work responsibilities to Task Groups.
As Subcommittee Chairman, I received and responded to 4-5 phone enquiries per week. Some require that I have to research the question in order to respond.
