SYLLABUS: Sections 1.5, 6, 2.1-3, 5-9, 3.1-8, 10, 11, 4.1-5, 7, 10, Appendix E, 5.1-5
GRADING POLICY: Your course grade will be determined solely from your quiz and exam scores. There will be 11 quizzes, each worth 10 points. Your lowest quiz will be dropped. Each in-class exam is worth 100 points. The final exam is worth 200 points. The total number of points is 700. Your grade will be determined by 90% for an A, 80% for a B, 70% for a C, and 60% for a D.
HONESTY: Giving or receiving aid in whatever form will result in action by the University Honesty Committee. Refer to the Tiger Cub for more specific details.
ABSENCE FROM EXAMS: If I am contacted with an acceptable excuse (before the date of the exam) then you may take a makeup exam. Refer to the Tiger Cub for a list of acceptable reasons for being absent from an exam. Any absence from the final exam must be cleared with your Dean's office. The final exam date cannot be changed unless your Dean approves it.
ACCOMODATIONS FOR DISABILITIES: Students who require such considerations should make an appointment with me during the first week of classes. Please bring your memo from the Program for Students with Disabilities (PSD).
