SGA Senate passes Parking Resolution
Wednesday, September 27th, 2006On Monday, September 24, the SGA student senate unanimously passed the following resolution. The resolution was sent to Auburn Administration concerning the parking situations on Auburn’s campus.
Whereas, parking is a serious concern of the Auburn University student; Whereas, the university has taken an active stance to address these issues in the hiring of Carl Walker Parking;Whereas, student input is essential to the effectiveness of any solution presented;
Therefore be it resolved, the Student Government Association thanks the Auburn Administration for their proactive efforts in addressing current traffic and parking issues on Auburn’s campus;
Therefore be it further resolved, the Student Government Association sincerely appreciates the current trend toward open communication between the student body and administration on future development opportunities;
Therefore be it further resolved, the Student Government Association expects and anticipates substantial cooperation between student representation and Carl Walker Parking throughout the entire planning process.
With this stated, what parking changes would you like to see on this campus?
