Purpose:

The primary purpose of this organization is to allow students of Auburn University to voice members’ belief that abortion is morally and socially unacceptable and causes physical, emotional, and spiritual harm to women and others involved in the abortion decision. Also, Auburn Students for Life allows students to promote the pro-life cause and well-being of the unborn, and by doing so, recruit others to join the pro-life cause so that acts of abortion can be avoided and other options can be made to those who are considering an abortion. These goals will be achieved trough a number of activities including trips to the March for Life in Washington, D.C., speakers, peaceful activism, optional prayer meetings, etc.

Permanent Charter granted to Club Italiano.

    Purpose:
The primary purpose of this organization is to increase the knowledge and appreciation for Italian culture and language in general, thus to stimulate and encourage the interest and education of Italian to the students of Auburn University.  It will consolidate the relations among students of such institution and give them a common background and forum.

 

These goals shall be achieved through meetings and special events that will promote the Italian culture such as fashion shows, soccer games, cooking activities, film festivals, and dances (la discoteca).

Purpose:
AUABJ exists to unite students who support the interests of young Black journalists and communication scholars in the Department of Communications and Journalism at Auburn University. 

 

Some of their goals are to serve as a professional student organization where members will learn about job opportunities, scholarships and internships, and also to promote the value of practical training in the area of journalism through internships or involvement in media organizations.  They will establish relationships with the Birmingham Associations of Black Journalists, the Atlanta Association of Black Journalists, and others.
