Celebrity Fashion trends

If someone mentions Alabama to you, one of the things that you will immediately think of is that it is not necessarily a center for fashion. And in fact, it is not! Alabama is not like California or New York or even Chicago where cosmopolitan living and style is almost a given. Fashion or even a big fashion culture is something that Alabama is not really known for. Being a student though and still at that age where fashion is really quite important to be “seen” and be “in” I have to make do with what I have in order to get the latest information on fashion – find out the latest fashion trends, read on forecasts for succeeding fashion seasons, and also determine what celebrities and fashion icons are wearing.

Fashion news and forecasts

The only way a student like me from Alabama can have a good idea of what fashion trends to follow and also gain good advice as to what are the latest brands and clothes I should get in order to look fashionable is to go to the internet. The internet has become a bible of sorts – a repository of important information for people like me who are hungry for the latest fashion news and forecasts especially when living in a place where there are no other alternatives or sources of fashion information. I usually search around the fashion related websites, the official websites of the big fashion brands and fashion designers and sometimes the websites of fashion magazines as they may have the information that I will need. But then oftentimes even if I do get fashion information from these websites they are usually about fashion trends that I would already consider as “mass market” – trends that practically everyone follows. What I look for are fashion forecasts of what will turn out to be the hottest trends for the next season. I want to be at the head of the fashion curve especially in my school so I want a site where I will know the fashion trends FOR the future.

Celebrity Style Blog

It was a godsend then when I discovered the DamnI'mCute Celebrity Style Blog. This was exactly the kind of site that I was looking for. It talks about fashion in a very accessible way and using celebrities as examples, the blog tells you what fashion trends work and which ones do not. So this means that I would know what are the clothes that celebrities wear and which particular clothing items or brands are coming into fashion. The Celebrity Style Blog also has gossip as part of its content that makes it a more interesting and compelling site to visit. Putting in celebrity style and gossip in one site is a great formula that really entices visitors to come in and visit often.

Jeans brands

One great example of how I was able to benefit from reading the Celebrity Style Blog was in the area of jeans. I have to admit, my world revolved around Levi’s then and nothing else. Frankly, it was the only jeans brand that I knew and trusted so it was with a pleasant kind of surprise that I discovered these new jeans brands in the blog. I discovered that Joe’s Jeans whose cuts are quite flattering to a woman’s curves. Then there are Hudson Jeans that would not look out of place in a hip or rocker chick what with its frayed and worn look. The decorative stitching meanwhile lends a level of sophistication that gives it a great contrast. Lastly, I also discovered Paper Denim, probably one of the most talked about denim brands right now. Paper Denim enjoys the patronage of many celebrities and has been featured in many fashion magazines.

Fashion online resource

With DamnImCute Celebrity Style Blog I now have a great online resource that I can use to always make my wardrobe up to date and fashionable. I don’t have to worry about looking out of style – I will definitely look “haute” wherever I go. I’ve already told all of my girlfriends about this wonderful blog and we’re planning on going on a shopping trip soon to further update our wardrobe! Just call us the best dressed women in Alabama!
