PAUP* Web Form

Welcome to The Santos Lab implementation of the PAUP* Web Form, a web-based application for creating simple command blocks for the program PAUP*. PAUP* is a tool for inferring and interpreting phylogenetic trees using maximum likelihood, parsimony and distance methods. Since it is being run at the AU Dept. of Biological Sciences on an Apple G5 14-processor computer cluster affectionately known as GUMP (Genomics Using Multiple Processors) via the command-line (UNIX) interface, this form is useful for beginning to learn and understand how to issue PAUP* commands without the aid of a graphic user interface (GUI). This form was designed by Stephen A. Smith (Yale University).
