Biosketch      Chetan S. Sankar is Thomas Walter Professor of Management Information Systems at Auburn University's College of Business. He works with industries to write research-based case studies for use by engineering and business students. He has published more than 150 refereed papers in journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings.      He is currently working on a National Science Foundation grant to create case studies that bring real-world issues into classrooms. This grant makes it possible for undergraduate and graduate students business and engineering students to work together and develop multimedia instructional materials.  Research on the use of these case studies and multimedia technologies in classrooms reveal that they could improve the higher-level cognitive skills of students significantly.
