ENGL7270 - Structure of English. Examine the phonology, morphology, & syntax of American English dialects in relation to literature, composition, technical writing, & language standardization.   
ENGL 7280 - SLAResearch Seminar prepares students to interpret & conduct SLA research. Students develop a working knowledge of qualitative & quantitative methodology. Research skills include preparing a literature review, a human subjects review board protocol, & a research proposal. Students will also become familiar with hypothesis testing using Chi Square, t-test, correlation, & multivariate analysis.
