Welcome to my Fishes of Georgia web site!

If you found me on Google, you're probably looking for the UGA site. Look it up through their Museum of Natural History page. I'm keeping this site around just for the hell of it. So check back for changes that might pop up.

As a native of North Georgia, I have always been drawn to the outdoors, and when I wasn't, my mom usually pushed me out the door. This site comes from my studies of the fish of Georgia and Alabama. Did you know that Georgia is home to some of the greatest diversity of freshwater fish in the United States?
I am approaching this web site with the mindset that it will be used by both the public and professionals alike. Since I am still in graduate school, this site will be slow to develop, and may drastically change from one day to the next. This is because my experiences change my perspective daily, and I am always learning new web techniques. I apologize in advance for the mistakes that I am going to make; please let me know if you find something that you think needs my attention...  I am always open for suggestions.
Thanks for looking at my site. If you like it, please bookmark my homepage, since it may move at any time.

Thanks and enjoy!

Keith
