Course Information for MH264 - Calculus IV
The basics of Multivariable Calculus will be presented using the third
edition of the textbook Calculus by James Stewart.

General Information:
There will be a final exam, three tests, and seven quizzes weighted as
follows:
Final Exam:
35%
Tests:
50%
Quizzes:
15%.
A quiz is a short test lasting about 15 minutes. All quizzes will be given
during regularly scheduled lecture class, and the two lowest quiz scores
will be omitted when calculating grades. Missed quizzes cannot be made
up.
The three tests will be given during regularly scheduled lecture
class on the following dates:
Friday, October 9, 1998
Friday, November 2, 1998
Friday, TBA
Makeups are permitted only in case a legitimate excuse is
presented within four days of the date of the missed test. Ordinarily
legitimate excuses involve illness, and in such cases documentation will

The final examination will be given in the usual classroom beginning
at 11:00 a.m. on December 7, 1998. The final
examination schedule is set in advance by the university administration
and cannot be changed. Makeups will not be given except in extraordinary
situations.
