Directions: Practice saying your responses out loud in Russian. Pay special attention to the accent. Check your grammar carefully. Reply with complete sentences. You may print or record your responses and hand the exercise to an instructor to be checked for accuracy.
  1. Tell someone where you were born, where you grew up, and how old you are.
  2. Ask a female friend where she was born, where she grew up, and how old she is.
  3. Ask a male friend where he was born, where he grew up, and how old he is.
  4. Ask your professor [politely] where he/she was born, where he/she grew up, and how old he/she is.
  5. Tell someone where one of your female relatives was born and how old she is.
  6. Tell someone where one of your male relatives was born and how old he is.
