The Russian Alphabet, Part 2

1. Listen and repeat the names of the Russian letters and the words on page 6 of the Textbook.
2. Listen and repeat the names of the Russian letters and the words on page 7 of the Textbook.
3. Listen and repeat the names of famous Russians on page 8 of the Textbook.
4. Listen and repeat the names of the letters and phrases on pp. 8-9 of the Textbook.
5. Do the listening exercises on pp. 2-3 of the Workbook. First read the words to yourself out loud, then follow the instructions for each exercise. Exercises: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
6. Do the reading exercises on pp. 4-6 of the Workbook. Read the words out loud to yourself paying special attention to the stress.
7. At this point you should have learned the entire Russian alphabet and you should feel comfortable reading any Rusian text.
8. Start practicing recognizing and writing cursive Russian. Refer to pp. 15-17 of the Textbook.
