#0036. Singular adjectives

1. The genitive case endings for masculine adjectives are:

   -ого when the adjective stem is hard

   Это проект молодого архитектора.

   -его when the adjective stem is soft, or when spelling rule 3 applies.

   Это машина моего хорошего друга.

2. The genitive case endings for feminine adjectives are the same as those for the dative and the prepositional case:

   -ой when the adjective stem is hard:

   Сергей брат этой маленькой девочки.

   -ей when the adjective stem is soft, or when spelling rule 3 applies:

   Это дом нашей хорошей учительницы.
