I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Auburn University from Fall, 2014. I am advised by Dr. Shiwen Mao and co-advised by Dr. Jitendra K. Tugnait. Prior to joining Auburn University, I received a master of science degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, and a bachelor of science degree from Xi'an Jiaotong University , Xi’an, China at 2014 and 2011 respectively. Both are in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I'm a recipient of Woltosz Fellowship at Auburn University. I did an internship at Project Loon, The Moonshot Factory, Mountain View from May to August, 2017. And I will intern at Google Inc, Mountain View from May to August, 2018.

My research mainly focuses on the areas of TCP and video streaming performance over wireless networks. Techniques such as machine learning/ deep learning, optimization and control theory are applied to solve the fundamental challenges brought by new wireless environment.
