I started my Ph.D. study at Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Auburn University from Fall, 2014. I am advised by Dr. Shiwen Mao and co-advised by Dr. Jitendra K. Tugnait. I received my master of science degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, and a bachelor of science degree from Xi'an Jiaotong University , Xi’an, China at 2011 and 2014 respectively. Both are in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I'll start my internship at Google X, MTV from May, 2017 to August, 2017.

My research interests are in the area of TCP and video streaming performance over wireless networks. Currently, my research focuses on TCP congestion control algorithm and Dynamic streaming over HTTP (DASH) over 4G and next generation wireless networks. I am also interested in using advanced control algorithms, machine learning, deep learning and optimization theory to solve practical systems and fundamental problems.
