Libraries refer to partitioned data sets.
Internal libraries are those not charged to the user or intended for use by a user. They are for internal use in development, maintenance and testing.
Libraries shall be used as intended and shall not be used for temporary storage of programs or data (except the departmental data library may be used for certain test data).
If there is a need for creation of a new library, see your supervisor.
CICS Copy Library:
ISP00.CICS.{WORK/TEST/PROD}.COPYLIB
Contains all system-generated copy members to be used by CICS command
level programs.
CICS Load Library: ISP00.CICS.{WORK/TEST/PROD}.LOADLIB
Contains object modules for CICS command level programs.
Departmental Data Library: ISP00.IS.DATA
General library to hold miscellaneous data. For example, tables
specifically created for 1-time requests may be placed here, especially
if the request may need to be rerun at a later time.
Test Load Library: ISP00.TEST.LOAD
Contains object modules for programs being tested. When testing is
complete, load module should be deleted.
Utilities JCL Examples Library: ISP00.UTILS.CNTL
Contains sample JCL for most utilities. Please copy the sample JCL
to your JCL.CNTL library for use.
Documentation Library: ISP32.IS.DOCUMENT
Cross-Reference Library: ISP32.IS.XREF
Contains cross-reference lists of production datasets, programs and
JCL. It is updated monthly around the 15th.
SPF Load Library: ISP38.SPF.LOAD
Contains load modules needed by certain SPX routines.
SPF Messages Library: ISP38.SPF.MESSAGES
Contains messages that are used by SPX routines.
SPF Panels Library: ISP38.SPF.PANELS
Contains screens used by SPX routines.
SPF Tables Library: ISP38.SPF.TABLES
Contains tables used by SPX routines.
SPF Skeleton Library: ISP38.SPF.SKELS
Contains skeleton files used by SPX routines.
SPF Output Skeleton Library: ISP38.TEMP.SKELS
Contains output created by use of SPF skeletons under SPX.
SPF CLIST Library: ISP38.TSOPROCS.CLIST
Contains CLIST routines that run SPX-specific commands.
