My Home Page: Tamara F Isaacs-Smith
Welcome to my home page, pleased to meet you, I am sure. If you have found this page you were looking for stuff related to the Space Power Institute of Auburn University, and perhaps semiconductor physics. If you got here are not interested in those subjects then may be there is something else of interest, you will just have explore further...

Please note this page is still under construction, please excuse the
missing stuff...
My Background
I came to Auburn in 1993, because they made my husband an offer that was hard to turn down. Later I got a pretty nice offer from the Space Power Institute.
And, before we go any further, just in case (not that I'm looking to get hired, but - just in case you ARE my big break), here's my Curriculum Vitae.
My Professional Interests
Work related interests: semiconductor physics with particular emphasis
on silicon carbide
(SiC), research applications for MeV
ion accelerators-including semiconductor materials analysis using techniques
of heavy ion implantation, Rutherford backscattering, light ion channeling,
nuclear reaction analysis, electrical characterization of semiconductor
materials, device fabrication and characterization and growth and characterization
of dielectrics on semiconducting materials.
My Personal Interests
I used to have lots of interests outside of work, but then we decided
to have a baby. This is a photographic
retrospective of my daughter's
life to date (she was born June 12 1998). When I find time for other things,
I enjoy apline skiing, sailing(racing is best), reading and quilting.
