The top 39 were accepted into the second session of Summer Studio and admitted into the School of Architecture.

Our first weekend assignment: a detailed color drawing demonstrating 20 hours of work.
First Horizontal Plane
A 400 square foot framed floor that hovers over the landscape.
Second Horizontal Plane
A 400 square foot framed floor that incorporated into the landscape
Vertical Plane
Sheltering Plane
As the Final project before the cut, this was the most important and stressful of the pre-cut projects.
It consisted of a Sheltering Plane, a 300 square foot floor space that includes a place for 3 people to eat, a fire pit, and a place to sleep under the stars, and the tried element was a
place for anindividual to watch the sun set.
