The prerequisites for MT498 are:

A cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better. This rule applies to non Business as well as to Business students.

An earned grade of C or better in MT331 - Principles of Marketing, in MT341 - Buyer Behavior, in MT373 - Introduction to Business Logistics and in MT436 - Marketing Research.

Completion of at least 15 hours of marketing electives with an earned grade of C or better. Acceptable marketing electives are limited to the following:

MT433 - Retail Store Management
MT434 - Purchasing
MT437 - Sales Management
MT438 - Marketing Channel Systems
MT439 - Fundamentals of Selling
MT440 - International Marketing
MT470 - Honors Readings
MT472 - Honors Thesis
MT477 - Logistics Systems
MT485 - Quantitative Analysis in Marketing
MT581 - Special Studies in Marketing Research
MT582 - Special Studies in Retailing/Merchandising
MT583 - Special Studies in Promotion
MT584 - Special Studies in Product Management
MT585 - Special Studies in International Marketing
