Can you see a ring?

Abstract. Let R be a commutative ring with identity. The zero-divisor
graph of R is the graph G(R) with vertices the nonzero zero-divisors
of R and two distinct vertices x and y are adjacent if xy = 0. We
will discuss the connection between ring-theoretic properties of R and
graph-theoretic properties of G(R).
