For now, glance at “Chronologies” (xvii-xxvii); study carefully “Reading Malory’s English” (xxxv-xxxviii [don’t worry about sections on pronunciation/sounds]); study “Editorial Procedure/Reading the Edition” (xliii-xlviii); read pp. 1-10 to begin getting used to the spelling and vocabulary (use glossary at back of book!!).
