The mission of the Alabama Hospice Organization is to be the state’s united voice for end-of-life care by being an advocate for its members through the provision of information and education.

The vision of the Alabama Hospice Organization is to:

• Provide the most up-to-date and accurate information regarding end-of-life care
• Be seen as the ultimate reosurece for public policy to improve end-of-life care
• Provide factual information about the latest rules, regulations and local laws pertaining to end-of-life care
• Provide superior medical education at an affordable price
• Act as a liaison with other national, regional and state hospice organizations, and
• Ensure that the citizens of Alabama are informed about their choices for end-of-life care.
