--Exercises/Assignments/Preparation/Participation: Your preparation for class includes reading and studying the assigned material, knowing the key terms and concepts, being prepared to answer the chapter questions, being prepared to discuss the material in the chapter, and completing all Exercises and Assignments in a timely manner. Assignments in WileyPlus must be completed BEFORE class begins on the assignment date.
--E-mail: As a course requirement, you must have an active Auburn University e-mail address/account ending in: @auburn.edu. E-mail provides us with an effective means of communication. In fact, you are responsible for everything that I communicate to you through this e-mail account. My e-mail address is: ford@auburn.edu
--Exams: The exams will cover the material assigned in the text and any other material presented or discussed in class. You are responsible for all material assigned from the text whether or not we cover it in class. Exams will contain primarily multiple choice questions, but may also contain a few true-false questions.
--Missed Exam: Missed exams may be made up during early morning, to avoid time conflicts, PROVIDED 1) I AM INFORMED BEFORE THE EXAM IS MISSED, AND 2) AN ACCEPTABLE UNIVERSITY EXCUSE IS PROVIDED PROMPTLY. NO EXCEPTIONS!! If both of these requirements are not met, a grade of zero will be assigned for the missed exam. Please note: Make-up exams may be a different format than normal exams.
--Academic Honesty: Violations of the student academic honesty code (see the SGA constitution in the Tiger Cub) will be reported to the Academic Honesty Committee.
--Special Accommodations for Students with Disabilities: Students who need special accommodations should make an appointment as soon as possible with the faculty member in charge of your lecture section to discuss your Accommodation Memo. It is essential that the faculty member be aware of necessary accommodations at the beginning of the course. If you do not have an Accommodation Memo but need special accommodations, contact the Program for Students with Disabilities, 1244 Haley Center, 334-844-2096 (Voice T/O).
