A. Definition of "Language"

  1. A set of arbitrary symbols that represent experience.
  2. Arbitrary -not based on rules or intrinsic natures, existing at random or occurring by chance.
  3. Symbols -something that stands for something else, not the event itself.
  4. Experience -every thought, feeling or event an individual encounters.
  5. Every person's language is different, because every person has different experiences.
