F. Treatment protocol
- Speech-language pathologist (SLP) persents a model for client to imitate. May present cues using other senses, visual, touch, kinesthetic.
- Client responds.
- SLP judges qualilty of response and gives client feedback. Feedback includes suggestions for improving production of sound.
- Later, pictures and objects are used to elicit responses and the stimuli change from very simple to more complex.
