C. Definitions

  1. Communication: The act of sharing thoughts, attitudes, and feelings.
  2. Language: A system of symbols and rules, either spoken or written through which communication takes place.
  3. Speech: The production of sounds which transmits language from one individual to another.
  4. Voice: Basic vibration pattern of the vocal folds.
  5. Difference between communication and learning. Can there be communication without learning?
