Year Round School STOPPED in Auburn, Alabama

The Year Round School debate has ended (for the time-being) in Auburn, Alabama. As a result of considerable grass-roots citizen effort and expense directed toward educating the public and the school system about the almost total lack of significant research evidence supporting the efficacy of year round education, the Auburn City Schools Administration and Board of Education voted not to implement this unproven, disruptive and questionable alternative to the traditional school calendar.
