The Golden Horse

The Golden Horse is a fairy tale based on the Cinderella theme. The main character, April Rose, is raised by her parents until their untimely death near her 12th year. Keeping only the sketch of a horse her mother drew for her, she goes to live with other family. The mistreated April Rose finds comfort in daydreams centered around her mother's sketch and curious farm animals. After a riotous confrontation with aunt and cousins, April decides to "go west" and meets with a wonderful suprise.
