Research Interests
My goals after completing my M.S. in fisheries management are to work as a fisheries biologist/manager for wither freshwater or marine systems.
Current Projects
I am performing a population assessment of three species of catfish, Flathead (Pylodictis olivaris), Blue (Ictalurus furcatus), and Channel [22K] (Ictalurus punctatus) in four Alabama river systems. Specifically, I am evaluating habitat preferences, relative abundances between systems and through time, and age and growth data of all three species.
