We found ourselves with a hard decision to make today. And we’ve recently gotten some more press coverage, so I suppose the timing couldn’t be any more unfortunate…
I don’t want to bore any of you with the details of our personal lives, but over the past couple days we’ve had to accept the resignation of some of our team members. Due to that and other mitigating circumstances beyond our control, I’m afraid I’m forced to officially declare the E.T.’s March project on hiatus.
The overwhelming support from the community has been amazing, and that’s why we cannot go ahead and film as scheduled. If we were to hit the road next week as planned, I’m afraid the product would only disappoint everyone due to these last minute conflicts. Although admittedly, the irony of trying to rush a documentary on E.T. the Video Game only to have it become the worst film ever hasn’t escaped us!
E.T.’s March is not canceled, however. We’ll be doing some reevaluating over the upcoming months, and will make an announcement here when the project resurfaces. What I can promise is that this film won’t become Duke Nukem: Forever’s March; next time we make an announcement, there won’t be any going back.
Thank you all again.

Good luck, hope to see the project back on track soon!
