The
READI
The
Readiness, Efficacy, Attributions, Defensiveness, &
Importance Scale (READI) was developed by Elizabeth Brestan,
Steve Ondersma, and Sharon Mullins to assess parents' motivation
for change via behavioral parent training.
The
first reference for this measure is from a poster presentation:

April). Application of Stage of Change Theory to Parenting Behavior:
Validating the Parent Readiness to Change Scale. Poster presented
at the Florida Conference on Child Health Psychology, Gainesville
, Florida .
Since
1999, other researchers have evaluated the psychometric properties
of the READI. Jennifer Butcher and Larissa Niec from Central Michigan
University recently submitted an article on the most up-to-date
psychometric data for the READI.
