History

The Georgia Force began their inaugural season by opening their first training camp on March 23rd, 2002 at Life University.  Life University will serve as the official headquarters for the Force during camp and during the regular season.  The 2002 season marks the first season of play for the Georgia force in the Arena Football League.  The Georgia Force relocated to Atlanta from Nashville, where they were formally the Nashville Kats and had reached the Arena Bowl championship the past two seasons.  The Georiga Force opened their inaugural season on April 20th at home against the San Jose Sabercats.
