The Georgia
Force play their home games in Philips Arena. The $213 million arena
is a
stae-of-the-art
multi-purpose sport and entertainment complex that was developed by Turner
Sports and
Entertainment Development and opened in September of 1999. Philips Arena
is
owned by the
Atlanta-Fulton County Recreation Authority. The arena connects with
the CNN
Center and
leads into both Centennial Olympic Park and Georgia International Park.
The arena is
adjacent to
the Georgia Dome.
The Philips
Arena is also home to the Atlanta Hawks and the Atlanta Thrashers.
The arena has a
seating capacity
of 18,500 for Georiga Force games. The seating capacity will vary
from event to
event depending
of the set up inside the arena. A variable rise seating systme in the lower
deck
and end zone
raises, lowers, expands, or contracts to change the dimensions of the arena
depending on
the event. The arena holds 19,445 for basketball games, 18,575 for hockey
games,
and 21,000
for concerts. The arena also has several entertainment features which
spectators
can enjoy:

Life University
is the home of the official headquarters of the Georgia Force. All
football operations and business offices will be located onthe universities
campus. Life University will also be home to the team's training
camp.
