| I live in Auburn, Alabama where I am retired faculty at Auburn University. Auburn is in Lee County, a contiguous county to Tallapoosa County where M.J. Bulger spent much of his adult life and where he is buried. My childhood home is in Covington County, Alabama. My great grandfather on my father's side also served the CSA in the 57th Regiment, Alabama Infantry. Riley Barnes was killed at Atlanta in 1865.
My wife and I spend much of our time on our farm growing landscape trees. The farm is land homesteaded by my great grandmother Barnes after her husband was killed in Atlanta. www.homesteadtreefarms.com
