Frogs and Lilypads -- a Problem

Four frogs were sitting on some lilypads, but they weren't very happy. The red frogs wanted to be on the green lilypads and the green frogs wanted to be on the red lilypads.

They could jump from wherever they were to any empty lilypad the was close enough (connected by a line), but two frogs could not be on the same lilypad at the same time nor could they jump over each other.

How did they manage to do it? (You might want to draw the picture and use pennies and dimes for the frogs.)

Hint.
