This designation is awarded for life, free of charge, and has been entered into our official permanent records. Thank you for joining us in our quest to promote religion based on deliberation and reason.

As an ordained member of our clergy, please realize that you really can officiate religious rites and ceremonies, as permitted by the laws of your country, state and municipality. The rites that all people rely on to mark life's milestones are perfect opportunities to spread our philosophy to our friends, families and communities.

Remember that your charge as a clergy member of the Church of Spiritual Humanism is to strive to base your actions on -- and influence others to be motivated by -- deliberation and reason, to follow peacefully the proper course of actions, and to avoid infringing on the rights of others. You alone are responsible for your actions.
