I’m a May 1998 chemical engineering graduate of the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.  I worked for International Paper as a Process Engineer at the Riverdale Mill in Selma, AL for over five years.   About three years into my career at IP, I decided that I didn't like it that much (actually, I hated it) and wanted to become a veterinarian.   After night classes, volunteer work, and a lengthy application process, I am now a veterinary student at Auburn University.  I'm halfway through my fourth year and will graduate in May 2007.

Just for the record, I am still a HUGE Bama football fan.   In my spare time (which isn't much!), I enjoy watching Alabama Football, spending time with my friends (and dogs!), and exercising.  And I LOVE to travel.  In the last few years, I have visited Hong Kong, Australia, Paris, Seoul, Italy, Grand Cayman, Hawaii, Cincinnati, Las Vegas, Savannah, New Orleans, Washington DC, Oregon, Cancun, Edinburgh, London, Charleston, Boston, New York, Memphis, North Carolina, Tennessee, and New Zealand.
