7:35 meeting starts

1.  First things first:  introductions, last weeks minutes, and the 
treasurers report ($156.00).  If you have not paid your dues yet they are $7.

2.  One hate crime was reported.  A sign was posted on the concourse stating 
that October 12 was National Going Back in the Closet Day.  

3.  Dr.  Berkhart has asked us to do a panel for the Human Sexuality class.  
It will either be Thursday October 18 or Tuesday October 23 from 9:30 - 
10:45.  If you are interested email Malcolm at auburnstorm@gay.com.

4.  There will be a Lesbian commedian at the University of Alabama, Friday 
November 30.  The cost is $20 and tickets can be purchased on the web at 
www.ticketweb.com.  Contact Kaley at Moniqueblu@aol.com for more info.  
Proceeds go to S.A.F.E. and several other organizations.  

5.  Thursday night there will be a Game Night at David's house.  Bring board 
games, video games, cards, or anything else.  More info will be posted later.

6.  The subject of the name of our organization was brought up.  Some people 
would like to see it changed to encompass all sexual orientations.  If you 
have any ideas let everyone know.  

7.  October 24 and 25 is Organizations Day on the concourse.  There is a 
party October 27 at the house on Opelika.  The AWO is passing around a 
petition to give to the administration concerning sexual assault on our 
campus.  Look for them on the concourse if you would liketo sign it.  A 
friend of Kelly's is looking for a roommmate.  If you need a place to live or 
know someone who does, contact her.  Finally if you have a problem with the 
mail on the listserve or the amount of mail, just unsubscribe.  Instructions 
are at the bottom of the mail.
