Auburn Wins 2005 Mercer Duals

The Auburn Tigers won the first annual Mercer Duals on Feb 12th. Out of the eight team bracket Auburn defeated Georgia Tech in the first round followed by a semi-final win over Marion Military 29-24. In the finals Auburn continued to roll as they defeated the University of Georgia 24-17 to capture the championship. In the consolation bracket it was the combined team of Florida A&M / Florida State University who secured a third place finish over Middle Tennessee State 15-9.
