Samford Lawn is a ceremony-only site location; however, we are happy to work with you to help you enjoy a smooth and successful event.
-The venue will accommodate up to 300 guests.
-Chairs, floral arrangements, alters, podiums, and other approved equipment obtained through the Hotel at Auburn University may be used on the lawn area.
Please keep in mind that the lawn area has always been an open park.The park cannot be closed for any event, so others may be enjoying different sections of the park.
Samford Lawn is available between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
-No events will be authorized on football game-day weekends, graduation weekends, or A-Day weekend.
-Auburn University reserves the right to block other days for official university events.
Rehearsals are authorized the Friday prior to your wedding after 5:00 p.m.
Samford Lawn may be rented as a ceremony-only venue.
-Space rental is $650 during the spring and summer semesters; $850 during fall semesters.
-For fall events (on away- or non-game days only), the venue fee is $1000.
-Fees are subject to change by Auburn University.
-The Hotel at Auburn University offers many packages to enhance your special day.

The Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center may offer non-alcoholic beverages during the Samford Park ceremony as part of your wedding package. No other catering is permitted in the park.
Instrumental performers are welcome to entertain at your wedding.
Soft prepackaged music may be played; however, the music selection will be set up and monitored by the Hotel at Auburn University as part of your wedding package.
-An amplified sound permit is required and the university and hotel will be happy to assist you in obtaining one.
-Auburn University reserves the right to terminate the music if complaints are received.
Auburn University is a dry campus. No alcoholic beverages are allowed on Samford Lawn or in the park area (no exceptions).
Parking will be available at the Hotel at Auburn University lot. Special accommodations may be given to the bride as she enters the venue. Persons with disabilities may use Ross Square to park. These areas are first-come, first-served and may not be blocked off.
There are no available restrooms at Samford Lawn. Guests may use the Hotel at Auburn University.
The Hotel at Auburn University can assist you in planning for inclement weather on your event day.
Through a partnership with West Paces Hotel Group as part of the Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center (a university property), all reservations will be coordinated by a member of the hotel's exceptional special events team.
