Draft-Legal racing is an exciting format of triathlon racing which involves riding road bicycles with short aerobars and riding in the draft of other riders.
While Draft-Legal racing is not a popular format of racing in the United States, it is the format for the Olympics and the ITU World Cup Series. One of the major downfalls of this unpopularity in the United States is that very few athletes are able to gain experience in this area of the sport.
One of our goals is to have a program open to all ages designed to get people ready for draft-legal racing. Whether you're a high schooler looking to develop yourself to compete at a USAT Junior level race or a collegiate athlete with the ability to race at that level, we seek to make sure you are getting the training you need.
Still very early in development, things we hope to include are:
- Time with a coach who has experience in Draft-Legal Racing.
- Monthly training clinics designed on teaching aspects only found in Draft-Legal Racing.
