How do I join Tau Beta Sigma?

• To join Tau Beta Sigma, just attend any of our Recruitment Events held the first few weeks of the semester. Details and suggested attire will be announced on our bulliten board in the Band Hall, as well as through band-wide e-mails. Attendance at Formal Recruitment is required to receive an invitation for membership to Tau Beta Sigma.

Why should you join Tau Beta Sigma?

• To help you become more involved with our band program by getting involved in the behind-the-scenes aspect of game day, concerts, and festivals.
• To help you develop your leadership skills by numerous opportunities to serve the band and assist in event planning
• To help you make friends outside of your section
• We have a lot of fun! There are tons of Tau Beta Sigma social events throughout the year, including holiday socials and formals.

What is required for membership in Tau Beta Sigma?

• A Grade Point Average of 2.25
• Completion of a Membership Candidacy Program
• Payment of member dues ($130.00/year)
