What is Tau Sigma? |
Tau Sigma is an academic honor society designed specifically to recognize and promote the academic excellence and involvement of transfer students. Other than academic recognition, Tau Sigma offers early involvement opportunities, opportunity to assume leadership positions, opportunity for assimilation into the student population, increased visibility of current transfer students, and enhanced reputation of current transfer students. |

What Do We Do? |
As a member of Tau Sigma, you will be presented with the opportunity to get involved at Auburn University and in the community. Tau Sigma has been involved in several campus wide activities including Transfer Day, Successfully Orienting Students (S.O.S.) Day, and a mentoring program for all new transfer students. Tau Sigma has also been an active organization in the community as well by decorating and participating in the Atria Prom (Senior Citizens Prom), sponsoring an Easter Egg Hunt for underprivileged children, and several other service projects. In addition to these service projects mentioned, Tau also offers activities solely for its members such as a Social each semester and intramural sports teams. |
