Q: How many stripes does Aubie have? (Heather Glover, Jackson AL)
Heather, Great question! You know, before you asked, I'd never thought about how many stripes I actually do have. I decided to count them. So after several hours in front of a mirror and the help of some friends, I came up with 473! WOW! I'm pretty striped!!!
Q: I see you dancing at the games all the time. Is it hard to dance with your big feet? How big are your feet anyway? (Kasi Mcdonald, Fayettville TN)
My feet are huge aren't they? I'm always seeing how nice people's shoes are and how I would like to try them on just to see how they feel, but I never can seem to fit them on!!! I actually measured my feet once, and they were about 17 inches long!!! Pretty big huh? But, to answer your question, no it's not hard to walk and dance, I look at people all the time and wonder how the don't fall over because their feet are so small! War Eagle!
Q: Hey Aubie, what is your favorite food? (Andrew the Catcher, Auburn AL)
Hmmm...Well Andrew, it all depends on what's in season. I have a keen taste for Dawg, and Gator, but I especially enjoy a yummy snack of elephant. I know, I know...You're thinking, "Ewwww...elephant, gator, and dawg?" You're right! It is an acquired taste. And seeing how I can only get it when it is in season, I usually settle for some Pepperoni Pizza!!
Q: Aubie, I am a huge fan! Even though my Daddy is a Dawg fan. Where do you live? I would like to come and visit you. (Martha Jane Shepard, Augusta GA)
Martha Jane, (that's a pretty name), You'' have to forgive you daddy for being a Dawg fan. We all have our faults. However, I can't seem to remember what mine are. hee hee... I live at Jordan-Hare Stadium. I have a house down below, near the locker room and I keep watch over things. It is really nice having the whole place to myself. I can run and play on the field as much as I want and sometimes the Coach will come over and watch TV with me.
Q: Can you run fast? (Mrs. E. Jones' Class at the Auburn Early Education Center)
I lead the football team onto the field at every game so I have to run really fast so the team doesn't run me over!!
Q: Can you roar? (Mrs. E. Jones' Class at the Auburn Early Education Center)
I am a tiger, but I actually don't speak or make any sound at all! Pretty weird huh?
Q: How do you play football before the football games? (Mrs. E. Jones' Class at the Auburn Early Education Center)
I love football! Brandon Cox, Auburn's quarterback, throws the ball with me all the time. Coach Tubberville even gives me tips sometimes!
Q: How do you sleep? (Mrs. E. Jones' Class at the Auburn Early Education Center)
I sleep in my bed in my house under the stadium. You should stop by and see me sometime!
Q: Do you have a girlfriend? (Tutsie the Tiger from Wills Point High)
Hey Tutsie! No, I don't have a girlfriend, but I have tons of friends that are girls! I am friends with so many pretty girls that its too hard to choose just one! War Eagle!
Q: Other than the games, where can my daughter (4 years old) come see
you? (Chris Holland)
I'm a busy tiger and I appear all over the place! I don't post my schedule, but there are many events on campus where you can see me. I also attend many Alumni Association events and almost all athletic events. On football gamedays you can find me at the Alumni Tent 3 hours before the game and at the Tiger Tailgate 2 hours 45 minutes before the game. Any easier way to get closer to me as at Volleyball, Soccer, or Baseball games. Hope to see you soon!
Q: Good afternoon Aubie. How would I go about
getting a signed photo from you for my daughter? She is a HUGE fan!!! (Wade Gunter)
Email me your home address and I will mail you one! War Eagle!
