Why should I participate in Aubie Claus?

Aubie Claus is an exciting and fun event that will allow you and your family to get an early taste of the Christmas Spirit! Besides having the opportunity to get your Christmas pictures taken with your favorite Auburn Tiger, the event helps raise funds for the Aubie Program and Aubie’s quest to win his tenth UCA Mascot National Championship in January!

How much does Aubie Claus cost?

Aubie Claus is $35.00 and includes three (3) poses. A professional photographer will be onsite taking pictures and you will receive high-resolution digital files (jpeg) of your poses with Aubie via e-mail. Photographer & digital files are included in the cost.

How do I register for Aubie Claus?

The registration for Aubie Claus time slots will take place Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at NOON (CST) online at the link provided at the bottom of this page. Approximately 960 time slots will be available over the three dates.

How many slots can I purchase?

We ask that you only purchase one time slot per household/address (i.e., one per household/family residing together). Please use your permanent residential address during the registration process. Do not use a student/temporary address, second home or business address.

If I have two homes, may I apply at each address?

No, you may only register from one address.

Why is there a limit of one timeslot per address?

The requests for time slots exceed the number of time slots available. Limiting the reservations per household allows for more members of the Auburn Family to participate.

Can I apply for someone else?

No, you may not apply for time slots on behalf of a friend or relative, as a gift, or to sell. By completing the transaction, you certify the time slot is for your personal use. Photo identification will be required upon arrival.

What if I make payment for a slot and do not want the time slot?

Unfortunately, no refunds, rain checks, exchanges or replacements will be made once payment has been received and the spot is confirmed. You can notify us via e-mail at to let us know you will no longer be able to attend the event. We will accept your $35 for the photo session as a non-tax-deductible donation to the Aubie Program and we will work with you to arrange pickup/delivery of any t-shirts or 2020 Aubie Calendars that you may have purchased during registration.

Is there a waitlist?

There is NOT a waitlist. Time slots will appear on the Gogue Center ticket site (link at the bottom of the page) if there are available time slots.

How many people can I bring?

There is no specific limit on the number of people you can bring. However, you only have (3) poses and time is limited so please have your poses prepared. Examples of poses will be posted onsite for you to have ideas for your session!

Where will Aubie Claus photo sessions take place?

Aubie Claus photo sessions will take place this year at the Gogue Center on the Auburn University campus. The Gogue Center, which includes the Walter Stanley and Virginia Katharyne Evans Woltosz Theatre and the Amphitheatre at the City of Auburn Lawn and Porch, is located at 910 South College Street in Auburn, Alabama, at the intersection of South College Street and Woodfield Drive.

Is there parking available?

Yes. Parking will be available for participants in the Gogue Center parking lot located on Woodfield Drive between South College Street and South Donahue Drive.

What should I wear to Aubie Claus?

There is no specific recommended outfit, but Aubie's Santa costume is orange and blue. Often, families will wear orange and blue or Auburn gear to coordinate with Aubie.

What can I bring to Aubie Claus?

Feel free to bring any props you would like in your picture, but again please remember that time is limited so have them ready before it is your turn! For the safety of your pet and other participants, pets are not permitted.

Where does the money go?

All funds raised during Aubie Claus go to the Aubie Program. Specifically, these funds are used to help Aubie compete in the 2020 UCA Mascot National Championship in Orlando, Florida. Props, costumes, transportation, and housing for the competition is quite expensive so this fundraiser helps Aubie and his team compete for an unmatched tenth national championship!

May I bring my service animal to the event?

Service animals are welcome. Our policy, consistent with ADA’s revised guidelines, defines “service animal” as limited to a dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the individual’s disability. Service animals must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered, unless these devices interfere with the service animal’s work or the individual’s disability prevents him or her from using these devices. Individuals who cannot use such devices must maintain control of the animal through voice, signal, or other effective methods.

How/when will I receive my pictures?

The Aubie Program is proud to announce that we have hired our friends at Village Photographers to take the professional photos and send each participant/group their images by the e-mail provided during registration within (5) business days of the event. The photos will be high-resolution digital files (jpeg) that you may share or get printed wherever you chose.

Also, each participant/group will be sent a link to a secure online gallery where they can view their photographs and purchase holiday/greeting cards, prints, additional jpeg downloads, and Christmas ornaments featuring their Aubie Claus photo.

Is there a t-shirt I can buy?

Due to the popular demand last year, we will have a t-shirt again to celebrate Aubie Claus 2019! Please add your t-shirt order sizes during your registration. The t-shirt will be a long sleeve, dark grey, 6 oz. t-shirt. We will offer adult, youth, and toddler sizes. Adult t-shirts (S-XXL) will be $15, Adult extended sizes (XXXL-XXXXL) will be $20, Youth t-shirts (YS-YXL) will be $15, and Toddler t-shirts (2T-5/6T) will be $12.

When will I get my Aubie Claus T-shirt?

You will pick up your t-shirts at your selected Aubie Claus date. Very limited shirt sizes may be purchased day of based upon availability. We strongly encourage you to order shirts during registration this year.

Can I still buy a t-shirt even if I am unable to attend Aubie Claus?

Yes! If you are unable to attend any of the Aubie Claus sessions, Aubie Claus T-shirts will be available for purchase on Aubie’s online store. To order your T-Shirt, visit our online store (online orders placed after October 25 will not begin shipping until the week of November 18th).
